Adasa

Located about 250 kilometers from Akola; the temple town of Adasa is most famous for its Ganesh Temple; which attracts tourists and devotees alike. Believed to be almost 4000 years old; the self-evolved Ganesh statue is over 3 meters tall. The temple is situated on a hillock and is considered to be one among Vidarbha’s Ashtavinayak. The Samadhi Ground, a Mahadev Temple with three swayambhu lingas and numerous other small temples line up Adasa; providing a spiritual experience.
