Unkeshwar

One of the hot water spring destinations in Maharashtra is in Unkeshwar village. Tourists flock to visit the Shiva Temple and two hot springs, namely Mukhya Kund and Surya Kund. The temperature of these springs ranges between 30 and 42 degrees and is found to contain sulphur. These springs are believed to possess medicinal value which help in curing skin diseases. Unkeshwar lies about 220 kilometers away from Akola and is accessible by road.
