At a distance of about 48 kilometers from Akola lies the famous and revered Shree Gajanan Maharaj Temple in Shegaon. The Sansthan’s buses ply between temple premises and Anandsagar free of cost. Another popular tourist attraction in Shegaon is Nagzari Shiva Temple which is surrounded by a number of springs. Nearby is Gomaji Maharaj’s Samadhi inside a cave at Shrikheshtra Nagzari. Shegaon is also gaining popularity among tourists for its adventure sports facility.
