Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary

Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary in Gadchiroli is situated on the confluence of Wardha and Wainganga rivers. It is inhabited by over species of wild animals including tiger, leopard, jungle cat, sloth bear, blue bull, jungle cat, jackal, peacock, jungle fowl, spotted deer, black buck and wild dog. Chaprala and Markanda Temple are some of the popular tourist spots around this sanctuary. It is located more than 400 kilometers away from Akola and the best time to visit this sanctuary is between February and May.
