Ambagad Fort

A 17^th century structure, Ambagad Fort offers a short trekking trip for adventure junkies. Build by Gond King Bakht Buland Shah; the Fort was later used by Raghoji Bhonsale as a prison. Located about 350 kilometers from Akola, the Fort is accessible by bus from Bhandara or Nagpur. Tourists can also visit the nearby Bagheda Dam which is fast emerging as a scenic picnic spot.
