Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary
Located about 505 kilometers from Akola; Bhamragarh is located at the confluence of three rivers, namely Indravati, Perlkota and Pamul Gautami. The town is famous for its wildlife sanctuary which is home to animals like leopard, jungle fowl, wild boar and sloth bear, barking deer, blue bull, peacock and flying squirrel. The sanctuary is covered with huge grasslands, shrubs and variety of trees like bamboo, mango, bel, etc. The Bhamradevi Temple and the Gond Fort nearby are also popular tourist attractions. The best time to visit Bhamragrah is between February and May.
