Khekranala

For people looking to unwind and relax for a couple of days; Khekranala is a nice spot located about 55 km from Nagpur and about 280 from Akola. The Khekranala reservoir is a quiet picnic spot that lies amidst the lush green forests of Khapa Range. You can also visit the Vithoba Temple, built on the banks of Chandrabhanga River, Shiva Temple in a natural cave and Navegaon Khairi Lake to experience the calm that nature has to offer. So, wear those sports shoes, pack your lunch, pick up your rackets and Frisbee and get going for a day out at Khekranala. Bus facility is easily available from Nagpur and the best months for visit are from October to March.
