Tadoba Wildlife Sanctuary

One of the most amazing wildlife and eco-tourism spot in Vidarbha is Tadoba Andhari National Park in Chandrapur district. An intriguing mix of flora and fauna, Tadoba was established as the second tiger reserve in Maharashtra in 1994-95. Tadoba boasts of animals such as bison, hyena, wolf, sambar, spotted deer, chinkara, barking deer, nilgai, langur, wild boar and many others. The largest national park in Maharashtra is open for visitors from 15th October to 30th June. Organised tours (4-5 days) with pickup and drop facility from Nagpur are available with the main attraction being the Tiger Safari in an open top gypsy.
